Automation Engineer - GMP Pharma & Biotech

We work in the Pharma, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Chemicals, and Information Technology sectors.</p> <p>As a consultant, you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills.</p> <p>You are agile and eager to adapt to different work environments that will fuel your curiosity of seeing what’s behind closed doors of the biggest projects of our client’s portfolio.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p>You will work on the design, implementation, qualification and improvement of automation systems in GMP-regulated environments. Depending on your background, your expertise may focus on PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES or industrial networks.</p> <p>You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality and validation teams on complex investment and improvement projects.</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop and implement automation solutions in GMP environments.</li> <li>Contribute to the configuration and programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS or MES systems.</li> <li>Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.</li> <li>Troubleshoot automation, control and communication issues.</li> <li>Develop and improve automation standards, procedures and technical documentation.</li> <li>Support batch control, recipe management, data integrity and process monitoring activities.</li> <li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and client stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to the delivery of strategic pharmaceutical and biotech projects.</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science environment.</li> <li>Professional experience with at least one of the following: PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES, industrial automation or OT networks.</li> <li>Knowledge of automation systems and industrial communication technologies.Experience with one or more platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Emerson DeltaV or Syncade is an advantage.</li> <li>Understanding of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently in a consulting and project-based environment.</li> <li>Good communication skills in English; German is a strong advantage.</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits</h2> <p>Joining a group with strong development potential that aims to improve your employability on challenging and varied projects</p> <ul> <li>Joining a structure that has been established in Switzerland for a long time with a client portfolio that includes leaders in the sector</li> <li>Having a sustainable job with stability and access to a real collaboration</li> <li>Benefit from training with accredited and certified centers</li> <li>Having a local management team to support you in the achievement of your missions and in the development of your career</li> <li>Being part of a dynamic, committed team with real human values that we live by every day</li> </ul> <p>Only applications from <strong>Swiss</strong> and <strong>EU</strong> citizens will be considered.</p><p>Find more <a href="https://www.arbeitnow.ch/english-speaking-jobs"
