Our mission is to forge industrial acceleration.</p><h3>The role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">CAM programming connects the drawing to repeatable precision production. Our central CAM team in London programmes parts for factories across the network, and how many new parts we can take on depends on it.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will own programming and machining standards from toolpath to prove-out, support complex parts, and write the methods and libraries other sites reuse.</p><h3>What you'll do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Programme, simulate and optimise 3-axis and 5-axis milling.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Prove out first articles to aerospace and defence standards.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Choose tooling, cutting parameters and work-holding for aluminium, steels, titanium and Inconel.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Drive cycle time and machine utilisation.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Standardise programmes across our UK factories, and maintain toolpath libraries, templates and documentation.</p></li></ul><h3>What we're looking for</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong CAM programming in Hypermill (preferred), Mastercam, Siemens NX or equivalent.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A record of holding ±0.01 mm or tighter.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience setting and running high-end machines in production, such as Hermle or DMG Mori, across a multi-machine environment.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">A solid understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling strategy and work-holding, based on reasoning rather than habit.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Confident interpretation of complex drawings and GD&amp;T.</p></li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Aerospace or defence manufacturing experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">5-axis simultaneous machining.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Titanium and high-strength alloys.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">NC simulation such as Vericut, and probing or pallet systems.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">EN 9100 or AS9100 familiarity.</p></li></ul><h3>Why Isembard</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Set programming standards the whole network reuses.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Work on advanced machine tools on parts that matter.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Competitive salary and equity.</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Location:</strong> On-site at our Southwark factory in London, with visits to other UK sites.
