HR and Recruiting Intern — Startup Hiring Experience (Unpaid, Remote)

<p><strong>About IndieKidz and Occibo</strong><br>IndieKidz GmbH is a Berlin-based startup building Occibo, an AI-powered platform that helps authors, parents, and teachers create children’s books from manuscript to print-ready export. We are a small international team moving fast toward our product launch and we need someone to help us build the team that makes it happen.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong><br>This is a hands-on HR and Recruiting internship where you will own real parts of the hiring process from day one.<br><br><strong>What you will do</strong></p><p>Source and identify candidates across Europe and India using Join.com and other job platforms</p><p>Screen resumes and shortlist profiles based on role requirements</p><p>Conduct initial screening calls with candidates and write structured evaluation notes</p><p>Manage candidate communication: outreach, follow-ups, and scheduling</p><p>Coordinate interview scheduling directly with the founder</p><p>Maintain an accurate candidate tracker and keep pipeline status up to date</p><p>Support job posting creation and distribution across platforms</p><p>Assist with employer branding and outreach efforts</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>We are looking for someone who is eager to gain practical experience in recruiting and HR within a fast-moving startup environment. You should have strong English communication skills and a genuine interest in recruitment, HR, or startup operations.
