We are looking for a writer who can</p><p>create original, high-quality French content tailored to local audiences, search intent, and SEO best practices. This is a</p><p>content-writing role, not a translation role.</p><p>The successful candidate will help improve our visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered</p><p>answer engines, including ChatGPT and similar platforms.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>• Create high-quality French content pieces, based on briefs and keyword targets provided by the SEO team.</p><p>• Develop original, engaging and SEO-optimised content for French-speaking audiences in France and Africa.</p><p>• Write content aligned with target keywords, search intent, content structure, and on-page SEO requirements.</p><p>• Optimise content for traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search and answer engines.</p><p>• Research relevant topics, industry trends, competitors, and audience needs to develop authoritative content.</p><p>• Adapt and localise existing English-language content for French-speaking markets while ensuring the content reads</p><p>naturally and is culturally relevant.</p><p>• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and make revisions as required.</p><p>• Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, content quality, and SEO guidelines.</p><p></p><p><strong>Types of Content</strong></p><p>• Commercial landing pages</p><p>• Blogs and thought-leadership articles</p><p>• Glossary and definition pages</p><p>• Whitepapers and long-form content</p><p>• Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)</p><p>• Competitor comparison pages</p><p>• Localised versions of existing English-language articles</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>• Native French writing proficiency, with an excellent command of French grammar, vocabulary, and writing</p><p>conventions.</p><p>• Ability to write naturally for audiences in France and French-speaking African markets.</p><p>• Proven experience in SEO content writing, preferably for B2B audiences.</p><p>• Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword optimisation, search intent, content structure and on-page</p><p>SEO.</p><p>• Familiarity with content optimisation for AI-powered search and answer engines, including Generative Engine</p><p>Optimisation (GEO).</p><p>• Ability to interpret SEO briefs, keyword targets and content guidelines and translate them into high-quality written</p><p>content.</p><p>• Strong research, editing and proofreading skills.</p><p>• Ability to understand briefs, communicate, and incorporate feedback in English.</p><p>• Ability to meet agreed deadlines and manage multiple content assignments independently.</p><p></p><p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p><p>• Previous experience writing content for B2B SaaS companies.</p><p>• Exposure to governance, board management, legal technology, corporate services or related industries.</p><p>• Experience creating content for international or multilingual markets.</p>
