Founded in 2021, LiveKit powers voice and agentic AI applications for OpenAI, Salesforce, Spotify, Meta, and tens of thousands of other developers, collectively facilitating billions of calls each year.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>ABOUT THIS ROLE</h2><p style="min-height:1.5em">We're hiring a Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) to be the technical partner to the engineers and enterprises building on LiveKit.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You'll work alongside an account executive to understand what a customer is trying to build, design the right architecture, and bring it to life with live demos and proofs-of-concept — guiding teams from first conversation to production.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">This role is ideal for someone who loves to build, is energized by talking with other engineers, and takes pride in turning a hard technical problem into something that just works. Real-time voice and video is visceral — latency, quality, and reliability are felt, not read about — so the best conversations include something live. You'll collaborate closely with our Sales, Engineering, Product teams to win technical decisions and to make sure what you hear in the field informs how we build.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU:</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">love to build and solve the most challenging customer problems with LiveKit</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">have a curious mind with a continuous desire to learn and improve</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">enjoy demoing and presenting, whether to a room of engineer, to a CTO or at a conference</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">have a team first mentally, seeking to lift others around you as you progress in your career</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h2>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with an account executive as the technical lead on strategic deals — from discovery and architecture design through demos, POCs, and technical decisions</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Advise customers on cloud architecture and deployment across self-hosted and LiveKit Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build live demos and reference applications — voice agents, video pipelines, telephony integrations — tailored to each customer's use case, and reusable by the wider team</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Scope and run proofs-of-concept against clear, shared success criteria, guiding customers all the way to production</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Reason with customers about connectivity, infrastructure, and end-to-end latency to design for scale and reliability</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create technical content — blog posts, guides, webinars, and conference talks — that helps developers and enterprises build with LiveKit</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Act as the technical enabler for your region's pod, and share field insight with Product and Engineering to help shape the roadmap</p></li></ul><p style="
