Senior AML/CFT Compliance Officer

By offering significantly more capital-efficient and lower latency trading, RULEMATCH is helping increase institutional adoption and enable the next evolution of the crypto and digital asset market.</p><p>To strengthen our compliance function, RULEMATCH AG, based in Zürich, Switzerland, is looking for a <strong>Senior AML/CFT Compliance Officer</strong>.</p><p>In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the effectiveness and ongoing development of RULEMATCH’s AML/CFT framework. You will combine hands-on compliance expertise with sound regulatory judgement, taking ownership of key compliance processes and contributing to a robust control environment in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape.</p><h2>Tasks</h2><ul><li><p>Take ownership of the ongoing monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of the AML/CFT framework to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Develop, draft, review and maintain internal AML/CFT policies, procedures and controls.</p></li><li><p>Oversee and perform AML/CFT compliance operations, including participant onboarding, KYC and due diligence.</p></li><li><p>Ensure appropriate documentation and lifecycle management of participant relationships.</p></li><li><p>Review and investigate transaction monitoring and screening alerts, assess potentially suspicious activities and ensure appropriate escalation and documentation.</p></li><li><p>Assess the effectiveness of existing AML/CFT controls and drive continuous improvement of processes, systems and risk mitigation measures.</p></li><li><p>Support regulatory matters, including the preparation of documentation, responses and information required by supervisory authorities.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed a strong compliance culture and deliver AML/CFT training across the organisation.</p></li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li><p>Several years of relevant professional experience in AML/CFT compliance, ideally within financial services, banking, digital assets or fintech.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory requirements and their practical application within a regulated financial institution.</p></li><li><p>Experience in developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, assessing regulatory risks and implementing effective controls.</p></li><li><p>Experience in engaging with supervisory authorities or supporting regulatory examinations and enquiries is a strong advantage.</p></li><li><p>Experience with digital assets, digital securities and related technologies is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and spoken German and English are mandatory.</p></li><li><p>Strong professional judgement, integrity and the ability to take ownership of complex compliance matters and make sound, risk-based decisions.</p></li><li><p>A pragmatic, business-oriented and detail-conscious approach, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.</p></li><li><p>The ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and work flexibly when required.</p></li><li><p>An open-minded, solution-oriented attitude, strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</p></li><li><p>A genuine interest in technology and in optimising compliance systems, processes and technical impleme
