In addition to consulting, we are active contributors to the open-source community supporting projects like Flux CD, OpenBao, and FINOS AI Readiness.</p> <h1><strong>What We’re Looking For in a Cloud Native Consultant</strong></h1> <p>We are looking for cloud native engineers and consultants at all levels to represent the technical and cultural values of ControlPlane, leading our customers by example in the complex and fast-changing world of cloud native technology. You will perform a mix of client consulting, working on internal labs projects, and contributing to Open Source projects on ControlPlane’s behalf.</p> <p>This is a remote position, but we invite you to spend time in person at our London office: this is optional and we aim to be entirely flexible to your needs. </p> <p>As part of the engineering team we may ask you to be involved in pre-sales or business development activities to support the ongoing growth of our organisation.</p> <h1><strong>Role, Responsibilities and Requirements of Our Cloud Native Consultant </strong></h1> <p><strong>What you'll bring (Essential):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience and a deep understanding of Kubernetes using GKE, EKS or OpenShift</li> <li>Experience with one or more cloud providers and Infrastructure as Code tools and practices</li> <li>Experience with GitOps tooling such as FluxCD or ArgoCD</li> <li>Development experience with Golang, Python, or Java</li> <li>Understanding of CI/CD best practices and a range of build tools</li> <li>Cloud security awareness and a desire to build hardened systems</li> <li>Customer facing/Consulting experience. </li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll bring (Desirable):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with SPIFFE/SPIRE</li> <li>Experience with Hashicorp Vault/OpenBao</li> <li>Experience with Zero Trust Architectures, tools and practices</li> </ul> <h1><strong>Benefits</strong></h1> <p>ControlPlane is a d
