Senior Consumer Insights Consultant — Commercial

<p class="MsoNormal">Innova Market Insights is strengthening the commercial core of its Consumer Insights practice. We are looking for a senior consultant with a strong commercial profile who converts consumer understanding into client relationships, proposals and revenue. You will work shoulder to shoulder with the practice's Commercial &amp; Client Lead and its commercial analysts, expanding our client-facing bandwidth: capability calls, proposals, client development and high-stakes presentations.</p><p class="MsoNormal">This is a role for someone who is as comfortable scoping a study with a global insights director as presenting its results to their leadership team, and who enjoys building the commercial engine, not just running in it.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="min-height: 1.7em;"></p><p><strong>About Innova Market Insights</strong></p><p>INNOVA MARKET INSIGHTS is a global leader in market intelligence and business information serving the fun and fast-paced food and beverage industry. The company is famous for trends, insights, and intelligence to build and sustain successful innovation.<br></p> <br> <p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Lead client-facing work across the practice: capability calls, proposals, pricing input, debriefs and senior-level presentations.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop existing accounts and open new conversations, converting goodwill support and inbound interest into paid custom projects and retainers.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Partner with the Commercial &amp; Client Lead on the practice's commercial strategy, offer development and go-to-market for new consumer products.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Act as senior counsel on consumer insight questions — framing business problems, challenging briefs and ensuring our work answers the client's real question.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Mentor and develop the team's junior commercial talent in proposal craft, client communication and account thinking.<br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For ( must-have )</strong>&nbsp;</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Minimum 5 years of experience in a strong commercial role on the insights/research side — consultative selling, account development or client leadership at an agency, insights consultancy or research provider.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Solid consumer insights knowledge: you are credible on methodology, consumer studies and what good insight work looks like.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; A demonstrable track record of converting opportunities into projects and growing accounts.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Senior client presence: you lead conversations with director- and VP-level stakeholders independently.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent English, written and spoken.<br></p><p><strong>What sets you apart ( nice-to-have )</strong></p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; An existing network in food, beverage or FMCG insights.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&nbsp;&nbsp; Experience selling or delivering syndicated research, dashboards or subscription insight products.</p><p class="MsoListParagraph">•&
