(Senior) HR Tech Business Analyst — Automation & AI (m/f/d)

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You will join Flix's <strong>People &amp; Organization Digital Transformation team</strong> as a technically hands-on Business Analyst, bridging HR operations, Workday and emerging AI and automation technologies.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You will understand how HR processes work end to end, identify opportunities to simplify and automate them, and turn business challenges into practical technology solutions.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Beyond gathering requirements, you will help build and deploy workflows, integrations and AI-enabled tools, while supporting Workday tech operations and process optimization in close collaboration with our internal Workday technology team and FlixTech.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The role reports to the Head of Digital Transformation and collaborates with HR process owners, People Operations, Workday Tech team, FlixTech, IT Security and Data Privacy teams globally.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This role is based in Berlin <strong>(hybrid model).</strong> Given the global scope, regular collaboration with colleagues across European, APAC and US time zones is required.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 24pt;">About the Role</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Analyze and optimize HR processes</strong> across the hire-to-retire lifecycle, working with People Operations and process owners to identify inefficiencies, conduct as-is/to-be gap analyses and translate requirements into practical Workday, automation and AI solutions</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Support hands-on Workday operations and optimization</strong>, including approved HRIS transactions, organizational and position management, data maintenance, EIB uploads and functional testing, working within established security and governance frameworks</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Design, build and maintain automation workflows</strong> using n8n, UiPath, Python and GenAI/LLM technologies, including MCPs, custom connectors, exception handling, monitoring and operational support.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Build and deploy AI-powered HR tools and internal applications</strong>, including Claude-based apps, with appropriate authentication, role-based access, data privacy and governance in collaboration with FlixTech and IT Security.</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Drive business analysis and technical delivery</strong> from requirements and process design through prototyping, integration specifications, SIT/UAT, implementation and adoption, collaborating with Workday tech team on Workday configuration and technical integrations</span></li> <li style="line-height: 1.4; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Develop HR technology products and servi
