Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Aircraft Prototype (all genders)

<p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your Mission:</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Aircraft Prototype &amp; Industrialisation, you will be responsible for ensuring manufacturability and efficient build-up of Vaeridion’s aircraft prototypes. You will drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM), support the design release process, and develop the tooling, jigs, and assembly concepts required for prototype manufacturing.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">You will play a key role in bridging design and operations, ensuring that aircraft structures, systems, and assemblies can be built safely, efficiently, and with high quality. Your work will directly enable the successful planning and execution of aircraft prototype assembly.</p><div style="min-height:1.2em;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"> </div><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Your Day-to-Day:</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Design for Manufacturing &amp; Design Release</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Drive DFM activities across aircraft structures, systems, and assemblies</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Work closely with design and systems engineering teams to ensure manufacturability, robustness, and scalability of designs</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Support and challenge design release decisions from a manufacturing perspective</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Ensure designs are aligned with assembly constraints, tooling concepts, and production readiness</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Assembly Planning &amp; Industrialisation</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Plan and define assembly sequences, workflows, and build concepts for aircraft prototype manufacturing</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Develop build plans for complex assemblies, including structures, systems, and propulsion components</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Support rapid iteration cycles typical for prototype development while maintaining process stability</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Ensure efficient integration of all aircraft components into a complete prototype</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Tooling, Jigs &amp; Fixtures Development</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Design, specify, and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures required for assembly and integration</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Work closely with design and support teams to develop robust and reusable tooling solutions</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Ensure tooling supports safe, repeatable, and high-quality assembly processes</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Oversee procurement, build, and commissioning of tooling where required</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Manufacturing Process Development</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Develop and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly processes for aircraft prototypes</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Define work instructions, process documentation, and best practices</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with future production needs</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">· Drive standardisation and continuous improvement across manufacturing activities</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination</strong></p><p style="min-height:1.5em&qu
