We operate in feature teams within an agile environment, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and business teams.</div> <h2 class="pb-2 pt-4 heading-xl text-foreground">What you'll do</h2> <div class="whitespace-pre-wrap break-words font-normal first:pt-0 last:pb-0 py-1 @sm:pt-2 @sm:pb-[10px] @sm:leading-relaxed text-base leading-relaxed text-foreground">Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:</div> <ul class="pb-2 flex flex-col gap-1 list-disc pl-6 text-foreground text-base leading-relaxed"> <li class="break-words text-foreground text-base leading-relaxed">Own and align the 2-year vision for data storage at Doctolib, defining which datastore products we build, which we source off the shelf, and how they serve both the monolith and the growing ecosystem of services around it</li> <li class="break-words text-foreground text-base leading-relaxed">Define the product strategy and roadmap for data management products used by 600+ engineers, spanning multiple datastores (PostgreSQL/Aurora, Kafka, Debezium, Couchbase), file storage, data access, and data lifecycle solutions</li> <li class="break-words text-foreground text-base leading-relaxed">Drive reliability, recoverability, and cost transparency across teams, including SLOs, alert ownership, backup and restore testing, and per-team cost visibility</li> <li class="break-words text-foreground text-base leading-relaxed">Define the experience for managing production data for services outside the monolith and for new AI product storage needs</li> <li class="break-words text-foreground text-base leading-relaxed">Partner with Staff and Senior Staff Engineers to assess the impact of complex architectural decisions, facilitate consensus across diverse viewpoints, and align stakeholders on contested trade-offs</li
